first of all it seems like the best free solution for video converting - teh program doesnt eat much of the system resources and does great mp4 files. Even its possible for you to select subtitles, for example, if they are in the video container you decided to convert, but as a result theres no such thing as subtitls in mp4 files, and theres no option of changing the file format. So if you just have to convert - this app is amazing and works just fine, but when you need options - unfortunately its useless:(

Very first file I tried to convert - a simple .avi file and I got an error saying “failed to load.” Glad I didn’t pay for this.

Most of the reviews are shills. This software isn’t free and it doesn’t let you know till you hit the conversion button. Even the app store is subject to the come on.

Some of the reviews say its not free, well I just tried converting my first video .FLV to .MP4, it worked great and didn’t require me to pay!

After looking at all the online converters that just wanted my email address, or had fine print, or the apps that are likely malware, I downloaded this "Free Video Converter" and whatdya know, it converted my MOV to mp4, for free! If you want to play it more than 2 times (or maybe its 10, but whatever) well, thats another story. Come on, Apple ... yes, Apple approved this app for the App Store. I am sure once you pay, its fine. Until then, its useless.

The last free converter I used would only convert half of the video before failing. This one works wonders, and the quality is beautiful

Tried this "free" converter before I was gonna buy another one. This one is actually legit and the quality is good. Recommend to any one looking for a quick, easy conversion.

Extremely slow... Had to stop it for fear of my screen getting damaged

I was unable to convert old AVI files, but the way it is set up is great!

Question for the developer please. Is this free version size limited? I notice that I can convert relatively small files but end up with an abort on larger files and only a 4k header for a conversion output. A 4:30 toon (Love that road runner) goes through perfectly, but a 44:30 TNG episode bails leaving only a header for an output <?>. Please clarify. Anyone else notice this file size "glitch"? VWP

It works really well! I can easily take a movie I have saved on my laptop and change it to an mp4 and put it on my iPod. And of course I find it the day after I get back from vacation and having to take two 2 hour plane rides without any movies on my iPod! lol

Works great except for the fact that you lose several seconds of video.

couldnt get any videos to load. sat there forever loading. eventually gave up.

Started it up, provided no options to select and assumed that it would generate a new file. Unfortunately It actually immediately overwrites the original, THE ORIGINAL THAT I NO LONGER HAVE ACCESS TO. UNBELIEVABLY TERRIBLE APP
